Science in the Background of its Technology
Synergistic Use of Energies—VelaShape III device uses a combination of multiple modalities:
• Infrared light (IR) heats the tissue up to a depth of 3mm.
• Bi-polar radio frequency (RF) heats the tissue up to a depth of 15mm.
• Energy is delivered precise by through vacuum.
VelaShape III's Mechanism of Action
Through the elōs technology, VelaShape III precisely heats the tissue up to a depth of 3mm and 15mm depth, respectively, by combining IR (infrared), bi-polar RF (radiofrequency) and vacuum.
The combination of IR and RF technologies in company with vacuum deeply heats the fat cells (adipocytes), fibrous connective tissue septae that surround them, as well as the underlying dermal collagen fibers. Adipocytes are more efficiently heated through the higher output of the RF. The optimal design of the electrodes and the concurrent application of vacuum enable the heat to penetrate more deeply and more swiftly. Afterwards, this increases the circulation, lymphatic drainage, rate of cellular metabolism and collagen production. In addition, this stimulates fibroblast activity and leads to a reconstruction in the extracellular matrix.
RESULT: A local reduction in the laxity and volume of the skin, an overall improvement in the skin structure, and a reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
New Stacking Mode Clinical Protocol
This stacking mode clinical protocol has been developed for the optimized treatment of locally accumulated fat deposits.
