‘ULTHERA’, a procedure offered as an alternative to the aesthetic operations in skin rejuvenation procedures, which is recently gaining recognition as the most preferred technology in the United States is now available in Turkey.
Ultrasound, with its most known definition, is a technology that enables imaging of the fetus in the womb. Today, the same technology is used to treat wrinkled and sagging skin that has lost its elasticity as well as droopy eyebrows, without need for surgery.

What is Ultherapy?
Our facial expressions tell lots of things. We often define our wrinkles as 'experience' and our sad appearance as 'tiredness'. Plastic surgery is always an option for the solution of these problems. How Does Ultherapy Act?
As in other ultrasound procedures, the applicator (application headpiece) is touched to the skin to enable the specialist, who carry out the procedure, can see the skin and the subcutaneous tissue on the display of the device. Then the skin is enabled to benefit from this through the same applicator that creates thermal injury zones 3 mm and 4.5 mm beneath the surface. This process does not destruct the surface.

What is felt during the procedure?
Although what is felt during the procedure varies from person to person, the patient is advised to take an analgesic before the procedure. What should be expect after the procedure?
The patient can return to his/her daily activities immediately after the procedure. There is nothing that should be careful about. Although redness occurs in some people after the procedure, the condition returns to normal a few hours later.
Is Ultherapy a safe procedure?
